2.5K video and lots of improvements
The new IMILAB EC4 camera comes with several enhancements that should eliminate the problems of older cameras such as delayed recording and poor video at night. The camera has 4 MPx, F1.6 aperture and records in 2.5K resolution. The IMILAB EC4 is characterized by a more modern design, slightly more battery capacity, an improved microphone and loudspeaker, as well as LED lighting.
Colorful night mode and solar panel
The IMILAB EC4 also supports the color night mode it provides. The LED lighting on the front is activated as soon as the camera detects motion at night, or it can be turned on manually. Besides the standard black and white night video, you also have the option to get color video in complete darkness. One of the best improvements is definitely the support for solar panels (purchased separately). It can charge the camera, so you don’t need to charge it from the mains. The solar panel has a metal frame, is wall mounted and optional.
Notifications and application options
The IMILAB EC4 wireless camera will notify you as soon as it detects movement in your field of view. EC4 works with the IMILAB application, which will notify you of movement in front of the camera using standard notifications. In the application, you can set the length of the video that the camera should record when motion is detected. The maximum length of such a movie is 60 seconds. Video can be uploaded to the cloud or to a microSD card. The maximum supported capacity is 64 GB.
Two-way audio, detection zones and alarms
The EC4 has a speaker on the back and a microphone on the front, so there is support for two-way audio. The IP66 certificate ensures trouble-free operation even in bad weather conditions. It is interesting to support the so-called detection zones. In the photo, you can mark 4 zones that are monitored by my camera. If it detects motion in one of these zones, it will notify you immediately with a notification or even a loud alarm.
