Kerafix P Grey Exterior Ceramic Tile Adhesive 5Kg

Construction adhesive for bonding wall, floor and facade tiles in outdoor and indoor environments.

It is made on the basis of cement, mineral fillers and additives.

EN 12004-C2TE improved cement adhesive with reduced slip and extended working time.

The substrate must be firm, dry and free from dust, grease and other impurities. Before applying the adhesive, the substrate must be moistened with water or if it is impregnated with the product.

FLOOR CONCENTRATE (dilution: FLOOR CONCENTRATE: water = 1: 3).

For smooth surfaces, we recommend the product QUALITY QUARC.

Add a 5 kg (25 kg) bag of KERAFIX P to approx. 1.2 l (6 l) of water and mix with a slow-moving mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Allow such material to stand for about 5 minutes and then mix it again. Working hours are 2-3 hours.

Immerse the absorbent tiles in water before installation. Non-absorbent tiles should not be dipped in water as this will increase slip and reduce adhesion.

In order to install new ceramics on old ones, the surface of the old ceramics must be coated in order to achieve the best possible connection.

KERAFIX P is applied with a serrated trowel with a tooth width of 4 to 6 mm on the substrate, and then the tiles are placed, which should be well pressed so that the adhesive adhesive on the tile is at least 60% and at least 90% for exterior ceramics.

The tile fit can be corrected within 10 minutes after installation.

If a cuticle forms on the surface of the adhesive, it is necessary to remove the cuticle and apply a new layer of adhesive and place the tile on such adhesive.

After 24 hours, it is possible to move the tiles slightly and grout in the selected shade.

Fill the expansion joints with a permanently elastic putty.

Optimal air and wall temperature when operating and drying from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C.

Avoid working in direct sun, wind and rain. Use protective curtains.

Wash the tool with water immediately after use.
