An essential element of Mediterranean culture, domesticated for six millennia, the olive tree imprints its mark on the Tunisian landscape, with its knotty silhouette surmounted by a pale green evergreen with silvery reflections. Carved, sanded, polished, the wood that has become an object is soaked in an oil bath then dried, before being varnished with a layer of oil. Living matter, its irregular veining, very particular, makes each object a unique piece.
